At Book Events for Schools we have a simple aim: to bring authors into schools to promote a love of reading amongst children. Meeting an author can bring a book to life for a child and nurture an enthusiasm for reading for pleasure.

Please browse our list of authors; we’ve tried to include plenty of background information about our authors and their books to help you decide who would be most suitable for your event. You can read about each of our authors in detail by clicking on the ‘our authors’ header. Of course, we’re always on hand to offer advice so please do get in touch if you have any queries or would like to discuss your needs in more detail.

If you already have an author in mind and they’re not included in our list, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.

Please take a look at our Twitter account as it features news of authors who are appearing at public events – literary festivals, independent bookshops, libraries – and other book-related news.
